A Story of Timing & Trust

When timing is everything, love waits—
through whispered moments, unspoken truths,
and a passion that deepens over time.

A snowstorm. A roadside motel. One room. That’s where the clichés end.

Seasons of Intimacy is a slow-burn love story about timing, trust, and the kind of vulnerability that allows real closeness to grow between guarded hearts.

When a chance encounter brings two strangers together, neither expects more than a night of awkward conversation. But as the seasons pass, what begins as an unlikely connection deepens into something quietly undeniable: a bond built not on promises, but on presence.

Through poems, late-night conversations, moments of passion, and emotional openness, they discover that real intimacy isn’t about grand gestures. It’s about showing up, again and again.

Told with poetic honesty and emotional warmth, this contemporary romance explores second chances, healing after heartbreak, and the kind of love that doesn’t rush, but waits.

From the Pages

Poetry is woven throughout the book. A few lines from two of the poems:

A snowflake now has new meaning, it’s true,Simply because each one reminds me of you. You’re a wonder to value, to love and to hold,And not just around when the weather gets cold. It’s just how I see you, and how deeply I’ve felt,And it’s ironic, considering—you make my heart melt.
Since you’ve gone away—nothing seems quite right. Now I share my bed with shadows, and a sliver of moonlight.I need you lying here with me; it can never be too soon.I thought I felt your touch last night—But it must have been the moon.

Winter · Chapter one

Snowbound

Her eyes were already heavy from the drive, and now the darkness made it worse. Snowflakes attacked the windshield like a Star Wars hyperdrive scene, making it feel as if she were moving much faster than she was. The wipers struggled to keep up. No tire tracks and no other lights. She could barely even see the road anymore.

Her knuckles whitened around the steering wheel. While she was no stranger to harsh conditions, this area was unfamiliar, yet she knew better than to expect any signs of civilization soon. Her last surge of adrenaline had faded.

Then, a flicker of hope—lights ahead, clustered in the distance, just beginning to come into view. She slowed, refusing to let her excitement override caution. She exhaled in relief. An outdated neon sign glowed: Vacancy.

A few hundred feet away, inside the modest motel, a man leaned over the sink rinsing his hands while staring blankly into the mirror. He was grateful not to be hurt, and to the lone truck driver who pulled him from his car, which was now likely buried under several feet of snow a few miles away.

Praise

“Seasons of Intimacy is a stunningly romantic and emotionally immersive novel that captures the very essence of enduring love. With lyrical prose and a deeply felt emotional arc, this story invites readers into a journey marked by longing, devotion, and the quiet resilience of the human heart.”
Heather Wejroch, Owner, Pages & Grapes, Wyoming, Michigan
“The “seasons” function not as time markers, but as emotional climates—shifts in vulnerability, attraction, and surrender. Intimacy here is cultivated, not claimed, making it feel fragile and uniquely shared.”
Jennifer N. Lloyd, Author of The End is the Beginning and Broken Blossoms
This book sizzles with equal parts heat and heart.
